Job Summary
Kids Instructor provides educational/fitness-oriented programming for children aged 3 months to 11 years in the Kids Academy, organizing and leading safe, fun activities and games; may host parties/events; responsibilities include greeting members, facilitating developmentally appropriate activities, preparing setups, maintaining attendance and safety, promoting junior programming, and keeping areas clean and stocked; required First Aid/CPR certifications within 60 days, with preferred 6+ months teaching experience and strong customer-service skills.
Required Qualifications
- Less than a High School Diploma or GED
- First Aid certification, Infant/Child and Adult CPR/AED certification required within the first 60 days of hire
- 6+ months of teaching children ages 3 – 11 in similar programs or activities (Preferred)
- Ability to engage a group of children in an activity
- Customer service and strong communication skills
