Job Summary
Supervise, implement, and actively engage in daily activities with school-age children in the recreational after school program. Manage students during shifts from 1:45pm to 5:30pm during the school year and 6:00am to 6:00pm during the summer, including longer shifts with unpaid lunch breaks. This role supports the district's after school childcare program for grades K-12 in a northwestern Minneapolis suburb.
Required Qualifications
- high school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- 18 years of age or over
- experience with school age children
- Able to lift 25 pounds
- work indoors and outdoors in a range of temperatures
- work in a fast paced physically active and loud environment associated with children's activities
- Periods of sitting and standing required
