Job Summary
Monitor program activities to ensure child safety and a proper learning environment while supervising children at all times. Teach, play, and interact with kids throughout the day, engaging them in groups or one-on-one to develop social, recreational, and conflict resolution skills. Discuss child development issues with families and collaborate with staff to address behavioral concerns. Maintain attendance sheets and attend training sessions to keep skills current. This 0.50 FTE role involves 4 hours daily at Aquila, Peter Hobart, PSI, and Susan Lindgren sites for grades K-5, with extended preschool and summer care options available.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Over the age of 18
- AA Degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field
- Experience of three months
- High School Diploma
- Experience of six months
- BA or higher in a related field
- BA or higher in an unrelated field and post-secondary six credits in child and youth development
- Experience for three months
- BA or higher in an unrelated field
- Experience one year
- Over the age of 21
Desired Qualifications
