Job Summary
Teach beginner-friendly Pickleball/Tennis sessions for elementary school students (Grades K–5) at various Bay Area school sites. Lead 1-hour classes per day during After School Program and Summer Camp months, using provided lesson plans. Manage class sizes of 8–16 students, maintain a positive environment, attend a 2-day training or shadowing session, and provide attendance records. Interact with parents/school staff, capture a few class photos for documentation, and ensure equipment is provided by the company. Programs operate in multiple Bay Area schools with in-person, on-site instruction. Dress code and transportation are the responsibility of the coach, with opportunities to apply to related programs (Yoga, Soccer, PE, Tennis, Volleyball, Basketball, Dance). Crossing between Camp and After School Program roles is common, with after-school classes typically about one hour per day plus potential pre-care time.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 19 years old
- Teaching or playing experience in Pickleball is preferred but not mandatory
- USPTA/PTR certification is a plus
- Enjoy working with kids; patient, enthusiastic, and reliable
- Good communication and class management skills
- Must have reliable transportation
- Must have valid work permit to work in USA
- Must be fully vaccinated and willing to undergo a TB test and Live Scan background check before starting work
- Must complete sending photo and short biography to upload in our website and introduce your experience in sports
