Job Summary
Provide leadership and oversight for the Area Coordinator Team, managing onboarding, equipping new members, and facilitating ongoing training and development. Guide volunteers through the onboarding and placement process, oversee initial training, and develop an annual strategy for volunteer effectiveness. Cues appropriate team members to support kids and volunteers during life's highs and lows, while recognizing key spiritual milestones such as dedication, salvation, and baptism. Maintain flexible readiness to assist wherever needed across all Next Gen areas as ministry needs arise.
Required Qualifications
- 3-5 years of pastoral experience
- Must be willing and able to obtain Credentialing with Assemblies of God
- Must wholeheartedly agree with believer's baptism
- Must firmly uphold a traditional view of marriage and human sexuality
- Alignment with Arminian theology
- Systems skills
- Team builder skills
- Strategic thinking skills
- Strong organizational skills
- Attention to detail
Desired Qualifications
- Experience within a large-church context (500+ attendees)
- Proven track record of developing systems
- Proven track record of leading volunteer teams
- Proven track record of effective team leadership
- Bachelor's degree
