Job Summary
Lead COF Kids Ministry for birth through 5th grade, shaping overall vision, strategy, and execution; recruit/train/develop volunteers; ensure safe, biblically sound ministry environments; develop age-appropriate curriculum and family engagement strategies; empower parents as spiritual leaders and coordinate transitions from 5th grade to next ministry stage; oversee staff and budget, build healthy ministry culture, and collaborate with other ministries to support family discipleship.
Required Qualifications
- Passion for children and helping people connect to ministry
- Growing authentic faith in Jesus Christ
- Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills
- Ability to lead leaders, build teams, and cast vision effectively
- Experience recruiting, training, and supporting volunteers
- Strong administrative and project management abilities
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive situations with wisdom and professionalism
- Works well in collaborative team environments while also being able to work independently
- Strong interpersonal and relational skills
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Minimum five years of Kids Ministry or related ministry experience preferred
