Job Summary
Greet members and guests professionally while instructing organized activities for children aged three months to 11 years. Prepare and set up for classes, transfer kids to and from programming, and maintain records of attendance, development, and incidents. Monitor the environment to ensure safety regarding toys, equipment, and surroundings, utilizing positive behavior management techniques. Host parties and events, promote Junior programming to increase participation, and restock supplies after each class. Clean program areas per the checklist and handle incidents calmly. Complete Kids On-Demand Required Learnings, obtain CPR/AED certification, and engage groups in activities to foster cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development within the Kids Academy.
Required Qualifications
- Less than a High School Diploma or GED
- Completion of all Kids On-Demand Required Learnings prior to first day of work
- First Aid certification
- Infant/Child and Adult CPR/AED certification
Desired Qualifications
- 6+ months of teaching children ages 3 – 11 in similar programs or activities
- Ability to engage a group of children in an activity
- Customer service skills
- Strong communication skills
