Job Summary
Greet members and guests professionally while instructing organized activities for children aged three months to 11 years in the Kids Academy. Prepare for and set up classes, then monitor the environment to ensure safety regarding toys, equipment, and other children. Maintain records of attendance, development, and incidents while utilizing positive behavior management techniques. Host parties and events, promote Junior programming to increase participation, and restock supplies after each session. Clean program areas per checklist and handle emergencies calmly. Complete Kids On-Demand Required Learnings, obtain First Aid certification, and acquire Infant/Child and Adult CPR/AED certification within 60 days.
Required Qualifications
- Less than a High School Diploma or GED
- Completion of all Kids On-Demand Required Learnings prior to first day of work
- First Aid certification
- Infant/Child and Adult CPR/AED certification
Desired Qualifications
- 6+ months of teaching children ages 3 – 11 in similar programs or activities
- Ability to engage a group of children in an activity
- Customer service skills
- Strong communication skills
