Job Summary
Greet members and guests professionally while fostering children's cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development through organized activities for ages three months to 11 years. Prepare and set up classes, transfer kids between programming, and maintain records of attendance and incidents. Monitor the environment for safety regarding toys, equipment, and surroundings, utilizing positive behavior management techniques. Host parties and events, promote Junior programming to increase participation, and restock supplies after each class while following the cleaning checklist. Handle incidents and emergencies calmly. This hourly position starts at $15.00 and pays up to $18.00 based on experience. First Aid, Infant/Child, and Adult CPR/AED certifications are required within 60 days.
Required Qualifications
- Less than a High School Diploma or GED
- Completion of all Kids On-Demand Required Learnings prior to first day of work
- First Aid certification
- Infant/Child and Adult CPR/AED certification
Desired Qualifications
- 6+ months of teaching children ages 3 – 11 in similar programs or activities
- Ability to engage a group of children in an activity
- Customer service and strong communication skills
