Job Summary
Greet members and guests professionally while instructing organized activities that foster children's cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development. Prepare for classes, manage attendance records, and monitor the environment to ensure safety regarding equipment and surroundings. Utilize positive behavior management techniques, communicate clearly with parents, and handle incidents calmly. Promote Junior programming to increase participation and maintain program areas by following cleaning checklists and restocking supplies. Host parties and events as needed. Requires First Aid, CPR/AED, and Kids On-Demand certifications; hourly wages start at $14.00.
Required Qualifications
- Less than a High School Diploma or GED
- Completion of all Kids On-Demand Required Learnings prior to first day of work
- First Aid certification
- Infant/Child and Adult CPR/AED certification
Desired Qualifications
- 6+ months of teaching children ages 3 – 11 in similar programs or activities
- Ability to engage a group of children in an activity
- Customer service and strong communication skills
