Job Summary
Greet members and guests professionally while organizing and instructing safe, fun activities for children aged three months to 11 years in the Kids Academy. Prepare for classes, manage attendance records, and monitor the environment to ensure a healthy space using positive behavior management techniques. Host parties and events, promote Junior programming to increase participation, and maintain program areas by following cleaning checklists and restocking supplies. Handle incidents and emergencies calmly. This hourly role offers wages starting at $15.00 up to $18.00 based on experience, with access to a fully subsidized membership and various benefits including 401(k) matching and paid time off.
Required Qualifications
- Less than a High School Diploma or GED
- Completion of all Kids On-Demand Required Learnings prior to first day of work
- First Aid certification
- Infant/Child and Adult CPR/AED certification
Desired Qualifications
- 6+ months of teaching children ages 3 – 11 in similar programs or activities
- Ability to engage a group of children in an activity
- Customer service and strong communication skills
