Job Summary
Greet members and guests professionally while instructing organized activities for children aged three months to 11 years in the Kids Academy. Prepare for classes, manage attendance records, and monitor the environment to ensure safety regarding toys, equipment, and other children. Utilize positive behavior management techniques, communicate with parents, and host parties or events. Maintain program areas by following cleaning checklists, restocking supplies, and handling incidents calmly. Complete all Kids On-Demand Required Learnings, obtain First Aid and CPR/AED certifications within 60 days, and promote Junior programming to increase participation.
Required Qualifications
- Less than a High School Diploma or GED
- Completion of all Kids On-Demand Required Learnings prior to first day of work
- First Aid certification
- Infant/Child and Adult CPR/AED certification
Desired Qualifications
- 6+ months of teaching children ages 3 – 11 in similar programs or activities
- Ability to engage a group of children in an activity
- Customer service skills
- Strong communication skills
