Job Summary
The Dayton Children’s Kids Express Tech role supports nurses, nurse practitioners, and physicians in delivering pediatric patient care with attention to development levels. Core duties include assisting with patient care tasks, effective communication, accepting delegated tasks, and reporting relevant patient information while maintaining confidentiality. The position emphasizes safety and privacy, adherence to safety policies, and a patient- and family-centered approach. The role acts as a change agent to adapt to census fluctuations and may rotate to all Kids Express locations. Strong emphasis on teamwork, ability to ask questions, and providing high-quality confidential clinical support is required.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED is required
- 1 year of PCA, STNA, or Medical Assistant experience is required
- 1 year customer service experience is required
- Experience documenting in an electronic medical record (EMR) is required
