Job Summary

Facilitate the launch of Pediatric Dental models and programs by implementing best operational practices and maintaining a productive office schedule. Drive year-over-year revenue and profit growth by managing expenses to monthly budget, overseeing profit and loss, and ensuring adherence to cash management and accounting protocols. Lead daily huddles and meetings, perform people services functions including staffing levels, interviewing, performance appraisals, and talent development, while actively engaging in creating best practices for Pediatric office management. Assist in developing measurable office goals, implementing marketing programs, and analyzing opportunities in PRISM for Pediatric offices. Accountable for procedures, insurance benefits, and facility cleanliness and maintenance. This role supports the PDS mission and culture, implementing the Perfect Patient Experience (PPE) and Patient for Life values. Candidates must have at least five years of related work experience and operational management knowledge of medical/dental offices.

Required Qualifications

  • At least 5 or more years of related work experience
  • Operational management knowledge of medical/dental offices
  • Equivalent to high school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • Knowledge of WORD, EXCEL, POWERPOINT and QSI software applications
  • Experience leading a team, mentoring and coaching subordinates
  • Requires knowledge of Dental Plans, fees, general plan design, administrative guidelines, limitations and exclusions, reporting systems; business correspondence and business reporting techniques; and business principles of profit & loss statements
  • Skills required include use of knowledge of WORD, EXCEL and QSI software applications
  • Ability to multitask effectively and work in a fast paced and sometimes ambiguous environment, without compromising quality of work
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common financial reports, and legal documents
  • Ability to respond to common inquiries from customers, staff, regulatory agencies, vendors, or other members of the business community
  • Ability to draw valid conclusions, apply sound judgment in making decisions, and to make decisions under pressure; ability to interpret and apply policies and procedures
  • Ability to lead a team, prioritize their duties, coach, mentor, train, write effective performance evaluations, conduct feedback and handle employee relations issues
  • Organizational ability by demonstrating a systematic approach in carrying out assignments
  • Displays independent judgment by willingness to make timely and accurate decisions based on available information that is sometimes vague or limited in nature
  • Ability to create presentations and use outstanding presentation skills

Desired Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or technical school
  • Equivalent combination of education and experience such as prior coursework or on-the-job training in the fields of dentistry, business, or training
