Job Summary
Create a welcoming, safe, and engaging childcare environment for children while parents utilize the fitness facility. Conduct accurate child registration, check-in, and check-out procedures in accordance with company policies. Supervise and monitor children at all times to ensure their safety, well-being, and engagement through age-appropriate activities like games and arts and crafts. Provide attentive care to infants, including bottle feeding and meal assistance as directed. Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free space by sanitizing toys and equipment. Answer childcare-related phone calls, communicate effectively with parents regarding needs or concerns, and assist with special events as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Current Child and Infant CPR certification or ability to obtain and maintain certification
- Additional certifications as required by state or local regulations
- Successful completion of a background screening
- Ability to lift up to 10 pounds occasionally
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, squat, and move frequently throughout scheduled shifts
- Ability to actively engage with children during recreational activities
- Ability to climb and hang decorations or assist with room setup when needed
- At least 18 years of age
- Legally authorized to work in the United States
- Proof of employment authorization
- Completion of all required employment verification documentation

- Previous experience working with children in a childcare, educational, recreational, or related setting
