Job Summary
Supervise all children checked into the Kids Crunch department by providing a friendly atmosphere, ensuring proper registration and check-out, and maintaining a calm environment. Watch and care for children to ensure safety, including bottle-feeding babies or assisting with eating needs per parental direction. Initiate games, arts, and crafts projects while cleaning and sanitizing toys to build a trustworthy space. Answer childcare phones, communicate updates to parents, and provide recommendations for educational tools. Follow all policies, procedures, and standards in the Team Member Handbook, facilitate member requests, and assist with delegated projects. Maintain valid Child/Infant CPR certification and complete background screening.
Required Qualifications
- Obtain or maintain a valid Child/Infant CPR Certification
- Experience working with children
- Certifications, as local/state laws require
- Complete and pass a Backround Screen
- Lift 10 lbs. on occasion
- Stand, bend and squat with frequency
- Climb and hang decorations when needed
- All applicants must possess a high school diploma or equivalent (e.g., GED)
- To be eligible for employment at Fitness Ventures LLC applicants must be at least 18 years of age
- All applicants must be eligible to work in the United States pursuant to both state and federal requirements and maintain their eligibility to work in the United States throughout their employment
- Applicants must also provide proof of eligibility to work in the U.S. including the required documentation for e-Verification
