Job Summary
Create a welcoming, safe, and engaging childcare environment while supervising children of varying ages and conducting accurate registration, check-in, and check-out procedures. Engage kids through age-appropriate activities, games, and educational play, and provide attentive care to infants including bottle feeding and meal assistance. Maintain a clean, organized space by sanitizing toys and equipment, ensuring the area remains free of hazards, and responding professionally to childcare-related inquiries. Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's needs and address member requests or escalate concerns to management as necessary. This role supports Fitness Ventures LLC's commitment to fostering an inclusive, diverse workplace where members can trust the childcare experience.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Current Child and Infant CPR certification or ability to obtain and maintain certification
- Additional certifications as required by state or local regulations
- Successful completion of a background screening
- Ability to lift up to 10 pounds occasionally
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, squat, and move frequently throughout scheduled shifts
- Ability to actively engage with children during recreational activities
- Ability to climb and hang decorations or assist with room setup when needed
- At least 18 years of age
- Legally authorized to work in the United States
- Proof of employment authorization
- Completion of all required employment verification documentation

- Previous experience working with children in a childcare, educational, recreational, or related setting
