Job Summary
Provide a welcoming experience for every Chuze member, guest, and their children, including sign-ups, checking children in and out, answering phones, and running fun, enriching activities. Uphold a positive, friendly, and caring rapport with children and their guardians while prioritizing safety and addressing guardian concerns. Ensure the club looks its best by completing and coordinating daily cleaning tasks. Support a seamless member experience by maintaining knowledge of general front desk operations, including membership offerings, club tours, and point-of-sale transactions. This role requires 18+ years of age, a high school diploma, and at least one year of childcare experience, with a pay range of $18.00–$29.25 per hour. Candidates must be able to pass a criminal background check.
Required Qualifications
- 18+ years of age
- High school graduate or equivalent
- Minimum 1 year of previous childcare experience
- Excellent customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills over the phone and in person
- Ability to maintain a positive rapport with children
- Team-based mindset with the capacity to receive and deliver feedback
- Strong attention to detail and multitasking skills
- Ability to work varied hours, weekends, and opening/closing shifts regularly or as needed
- Ability to read, write, and communicate clearly in English
- Ability to walk, bend, kneel, reach, and perform repetitive arm and hand movements
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Ability to operate a telephone, computer, and other standard office equipment
- Ability to safely lift and carry up to 50 pounds independently and heavier loads with assistance when needed
- Must be able to pass a criminal background check
