Job Summary
Facilitate guided hikes, lawn games, and Kids Club programs while supervising indoor and outdoor guest activities. Manage reservations, notify vendors, and check in guests, accurately charging services to profiles through the resort's database. Maintain equipment, monitor cleanliness, and set up or break down event materials for corporate retreats and team building. Resolve guest complaints, track attendance for reporting, and coordinate with Housekeeping, Maintenance, Food & Beverage, and Front Desk. Assist in creating new activities and support resort-wide initiatives like holiday décor. Maintain inventory of supplies and communicate reordering needs to leadership.
Required Qualifications
- Fluency in English both verbal and non-verbal
- Provide legible communication
- Perform job functions with attention to detail, speed and accuracy
- Communicate clearly, concisely, and effectively both orally and in writing
- Prioritize, organize, and exercise problem-solving skills
- Follow directions thoroughly
- Understand guest's service needs
- Work cohesively with co-workers as part of a team
- Work with minimal supervision
- Maintain confidentiality of guest information and pertinent hotel data
- Lift and move up to 50 lbs
- Possession of a high school diploma/GED
- 2 years recreation, hospitality or special event experience
- Current First Aid & CPR certification
- Able to input and access information in the property management system/computers
- Previous guest relations training
- Flexibility with other aspects of the Resort Activities team upon request of supervisors
- Flexibility with other services not pertaining to guest services but dealing with the hotel
Desired Qualifications
- Degree in recreation, hospitality, tourism or natural science preferred
- Fluency in a second language, preferably Spanish
