Job Summary
Kids Club Attendant responsible for supervising and engaging children aged 6 months to 12 years, opening/closing the Kids Club area, planning and executing age-appropriate activities, ensuring sign-in and liability waivers are completed, coordinating materials, and maintaining a safe, clean environment. Role requires interaction with children, collaboration with Recreation Supervisor and other departments, delivery of service standards (I Am Proud), and participation in special events. Must be able to work an 8-hour shift including weekends/holidays and obtain/maintain CPR & First Aid certifications.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum high school diploma or GED
- Minimum of two years related work experience with children (preferably in a daycare or program setting)
- CPR & First Aid Certifications or ability to obtain
- Ability to interpret/extract information and perform arithmetic functions
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to supervise 6-8 children at a time
- Weekend and holiday availability
