Job Summary
This role involves providing excellent care for children from birth to 5th grade during events and ministry gatherings. Responsibilities include recruiting, training, and motivating volunteers, creating a fun and engaging environment, following safety protocols, ensuring room setup, and cleaning up after childcare. Candidates must demonstrate a passion for following Jesus, strong relationship-building skills with kids and parents, positive interpersonal skills, flexibility in schedule, and a commitment to the mission of First Orlando.
Required Qualifications
- Prior experience with childcare in a school, daycare or church setting
- Demonstrates a passion to follow Jesus and a commitment to growing as a believer
- Strong interpersonal skills and an enthusiastic approach to KIDS ministry
- Ability to improve processes
- Flexibility in schedule with weeknight and weekend availability
- Support the mission and beliefs of First Orlando
- Love kids and families and strive to point them to Jesus
