Job Summary
Conduct safety, engagement, and operations oversight for the Academy/Child Center while delivering high-level customer service to Members and Team Members. Partner with the Kids Manager to prepare for events, drive participation numbers, and manage payroll within budgetary guidelines. Support the team through ongoing training, feedback, and coaching, while managing hiring, onboarding, and inventory for supplies and equipment. Maintain a safe, clean, and friendly environment for junior members. This hourly role requires High School Diploma or GED, two years of teaching or children's program experience, and successful completion of Kids On-Demand Certifications. Wages start at $19.75 and go up to $26.50 based on experience.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- 2 years of experience teaching or working in a children's program
- 2 years of experience in day care setting as a lead teacher or two consecutive summers of camp experience with increased responsibility
- 2 years of supervisory/management experience
- Successfully complete and pass Kids On-Demand Certifications before 1st day of work
- First Aid certification
- Infant/Child and Adult CPR/AED certification
- Ability to frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
Desired Qualifications
- Experience working with children
- The ability to engage a group of children in an activity
- Customer service and strong communication skills
