Job Summary
Greet members and guests professionally while instructing organized activities that foster children's cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development. Prepare for classes, manage attendance records, and monitor the environment to ensure safety regarding equipment and surroundings. Utilize positive behavior management to handle incidents calmly, restock supplies, and maintain program areas per the cleaning checklist. Host parties and events to promote participation in Kids and Aquatics programming. Maintain First Aid and CPR/AED certifications. Full-time hourly position with subsidized membership and RRSP match.
Required Qualifications
- Less than a High School Diploma or GED
- Completion of all Kids On-Demand Required Learnings prior to first day of work
- First Aid certification
- Infant/Child and Adult CPR/AED certification
Desired Qualifications
- 6+ months of teaching children ages 3 – 11 in similar programs or activities
- Ability to engage a group of children in an activity
- Customer service and strong communication skills
