Job Summary
Maintain a safe, secure Kids Zone environment by monitoring all children, enforcing safety policies, and ensuring only authorized personnel enter the area. Organize recreational activities, read to kids, teach arts and crafts, and guide healthy habits while engaging children in age-appropriate play. Adhere to the In-Shape Clean Approach, store toys properly, and resolve member concerns promptly. During the season, monitor the pool and slide, implementing safety rules as needed. Assist in other club areas when requested and attend required meetings and trainings. This role supports social development and builds a positive community for members aged 3 months to 12 years.
Required Qualifications
- Flexible/positive attitude in meeting and exceeding our members' expectations
- Patience and creative energy to work with children as well as a high tolerance for childhood behaviors
- Physical stamina to care for groups of energetic young children
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Willing and able to work a flexible shift: evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Current CPR or ability to pass CPR certification within 60 days of hire date
- Must be Trustline registered
- First Aid Training, required only at clubs with pool slides
Desired Qualifications
- Pre-school or day care experience
- Bilingual skills
