Job Summary
Conduct active supervision and safety checks during weekday evenings and weekend mornings to maintain a secure environment for children. Build supportive relationships with kids and families while leading developmentally appropriate activities and modeling YMCA values. Respond promptly to incidents and emergencies, ensuring every participant feels included and encouraged to grow. Provide welcoming service to families and contribute to a collaborative team culture. First Aid and CPR certifications required; part-time schedule includes Monday through Friday 4:15pm to 7:45pm and Saturday and Sunday 8:00am to 11:30am. Minimum age 16 with valid work permit.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum Age: 16 years with valid work permit
- First Aid and CPR certifications required
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S. (E-Verify participation)
- Must pass criminal background check and drug screen
Desired Qualifications
- Preferred 2 years work experience with children ages 6 weeks to 11 years old
- Experience in customer service preferred
- Excellent communication and organization skills
