Job Summary
Lead structured, age-appropriate soccer classes for children aged 18 months to 6 years, delivering fun, friendly activities that promote physical, cognitive, and social development. Create a safe, secure learning environment while managing children's behaviors positively to foster good sportsmanship and cooperation. Organize each session with necessary equipment and ensure all participants adhere to Vetta Sports' safety guidelines. Maintain clear communication with parents and staff, providing positive feedback and addressing concerns as needed. Collaborate effectively with other coaches to ensure a cohesive program experience and represent Vetta Sports professionally at all times. Participate in marketing activities such as customer contact calls. This part-time role requires approx. 15–20 hours per week and embodies the joy of sports to ensure every child has a memorable experience.
Required Qualifications
- Must pass a background check
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Highly organized and punctual
- Enthusiastic, energetic, and patient demeanor
- Ability to manage and positively influence children's behavior
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Previous experience working with young children (ages 18 months - 6 years) in a coaching, teaching, or childcare setting
- Ability to be physically active and demonstrate soccer movements
- Requires standing, walking, bending, and occasional lifting of light equipment
Desired Qualifications
- Previous experience working with young children (ages 18 months - 6 years) in a coaching, teaching, or childcare setting is highly preferred
- Basic knowledge of soccer fundamentals is a plus, but not required; training will be provided
