Job Summary
KIA Certified Technician needed to diagnose and repair KIA vehicles, perform diagnostics, inspections, and repairs on critical components (transmissions, brakes, engines) with emergency field response and test-driving to verify fixes. Responsibilities include customer consultation, work-plan development, advanced diagnostics, detailed vehicle inspections, routine maintenance (oil changes, wheel balancing, alignment), and meticulous record keeping. Must possess KIA certifications, strong electrical and diesel-engine knowledge, proficiency with diagnostic software and repair tools, and excellent communication. In-person role at Belle Vernon, PA, full-time hourly.
Required Qualifications
- KIA Certifications are required for this position.
- Experience: Advanced knowledge of KIA vehicles, electrical systems, and diesel engine mechanisms.
- Technical Expertise: Proficient in using maintenance tools, repair equipment, and diesel engine diagnostic software.
- Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Computer Skills: Basic knowledge of computer systems and relevant electronics.
- Interpersonal Skills: Strong communication and collaboration abilities, with a focus on delivering excellent customer service.
- Driver’s License: A valid driver’s license is required.
