Job Summary
Conduct over-the-phone interpretation for medical, insurance, financial, utility, customer service, and court cases. Log on and off via an online portal or landline to provide 24/7 service for high-volume calls. Set your own schedule as an independent contractor while residing in the United States and holding valid SSN or EIN and photo ID. Complete the mandatory Language Assessment and meet minimum two years of professional interpreting experience. Payment is issued twice monthly via direct deposit based on minutes rendered. Note that recruitment is currently paused in California, New Jersey, and New York.
Required Qualifications
- Must meet all requirements to work in the United States legally (SSN or EIN & Photo ID required)
- Must reside in the United States
- Must pass CLI's Language Assessment
- Must be available for 100% over-the-phone interpretation
- Must be available for service 24/7
Desired Qualifications
- Minimum two years of professional interpreting experience
