Job Summary
Conduct daily cleaning of the Katherine Hanley Family Shelter facility, including trash removal, floor care, surface disinfection, and grounds maintenance at Kate's Place. Restock supplies, maintain equipment, and serve as the point of contact for maintenance contractors and vendors. Manage a running maintenance request log, assist with repairs and annual checks, and support front desk staff as needed. Safely operate shelter vehicles and track emergency response plans and fire drills. Utilize Microsoft tools for daily operations. Requires a valid driver's license, willingness to work evenings and weekends, and ability to lift 50 pounds. Annual TB test required.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid Driver's License
- Willingness to work evenings and weekends when needed, as schedule may vary
- Annual TB Test is required
- Ability to sit or stand for long periods
- Ability to lift items weighing up to 50 pounds
- Bending, stooping and crouching
- Proficiently utilize Microsoft (email, calendar, drive, docs, etc) as a part of the day to day work requirements
- Safely operate Shelter House's Vehicles
