Job Summary
Keyholder role supporting Away’s Seattle University Village store. You’ll embody brand standards and deliver best-in-class customer service, lead and guide a team of retail associates, and help drive in-store operations and sales to meet KPIs. Responsibilities include onboarding new hires, coaching team members, ensuring consistent customer experiences from arrival to departure, partnering with store management on marketing events, and supporting day-to-day store processes. The role requires the ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 25 pounds, and maintain scheduling needs that include weekend shifts (two Fridays and Sundays per month, three Saturdays per month, plus two closing shifts each week). The position emphasizes a customer-centric culture, collaboration, and the ability to execute training to uphold brand standards.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to pull, push, lift, and carry up to 25 pounds throughout a work shift
- Ability to stand/be on feet for extended periods of time throughout a work shift
- Weekend availability including one weekend day (Saturday or Sunday) and multiple Fridays/Saturdays per month as part of schedule
- Experience leading a retail team or supervisory responsibilities would be relevant
- Strong communication and coaching skills to develop team members
- Customer service excellence and in-store operations experience
- Onboarding and training new hires to meet customer experience standards
- Ability to collaborate with store management on events and programming
