Job Summary
Execute daily sales operations including POS management, cash office procedures, merchandising, and loss prevention while providing exceptional customer service to donors. Perform store opening and closing duties, handle money transactions, and maintain inventory organization on the sales floor and in stockrooms. Share personal testimony, pray with customers, and disciple staff through relational engagement to foster a gospel-centered team environment. This seasonal, part-time role requires flexibility for weekend and holiday hours, with physical demands including standing for extended periods and lifting up to 50 lbs.
Required Qualifications
- Experience operating cash registers and handling of money
- Weekend and holiday hours
- Ability to stand and walk on concrete surfaces for extended periods
- Bend, lift, grasp, reach, push and pull materials
- Navigate uneven surfaces, ladders and stairs
- Lift up to 50 lbs
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Flexibility in scheduling
- Ability to maintain strict confidentiality
Desired Qualifications
- One to two years of relevant work experience or volunteer hours, including retail or warehouse experience
- High school diploma
- Strong, proactive communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills
- Possess strong organizational, planning, detail-oriented and problem-solving skills
- Ability to adapt to change
- Demonstrated ability to make disciples who make disciples
