Job Summary
Lead the store team and achieve objectives by assisting management, mentoring members, and providing personalized guest service. Maintain merchandising standards, handle daily operations including opening, closing, and restocking, and resolve escalations with professionalism. Act as a role model while staying current on product features and promotions to confidently recommend items. Take charge of store security, cash handling, and key responsibilities in the absence of management. Work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays, requiring the ability to stand for eight hours and lift up to 50 lbs.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of retail or guest service experience
- demonstrated leadership or supervisory experience
- Demonstrated ability to handle keys, cash, and store security responsibilities
- A clean, professional, and fashion forward appearance
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask in a dynamic retail environment
- Comfortable taking charge and making decisions in the absence of management
- Friendly, approachable, and guest-focused
- A collaborative spirit and willingness to pitch in where needed
- Detail-oriented and dependable
- Motivated by personal and team success
- Open availability including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to stand for up to 8 hours
- Ability to lift or carry up to 50 lbs
- Ability to shift, push, reach, stretch, twist, bend, pull or maneuver weight over 50 lbs to fold, stock and build or display merchandise
- Comfortable climbing ladders for merchandising and stock
