Job Summary
Key User (KU) Asset Accounting expert for SAP S/4HANA (FI-AA) with data-analysis focus on asset configurations, depreciation areas, asset classes, and account determination. Responsibilities include scrapping activities (including supplier and intercompany), adjusting field status groups for depreciation/ acquisition accounts, ensuring IFRS/local statutory compliance, testing asset postings and depreciation runs, documenting processes for standardization, supporting interfaces and approval workflows, and delivering end-user training with updated training materials (DTPs from R3 to S4). Educational requirements include B.Com or MBA Finance (not correspondence) or Accounting and Financial Management, with at least 3 years of relevant experience and cross-functional/matrix experience; strong communication, analytical, and time-management skills are required.
Required Qualifications
- B. Com or MBA finance (not correspondence) or Accounting and financial management
- Min 3 years of professional experience in the relevant field
- Experience in cross-functional processes and a matrix organization
- Proficient knowledge of SAP FI - Asset Accounting
- Data migration of asset masters and values
- Understanding of financial close processes, provisions, accruals, and financial reporting
- Proficient communication skills, analytical, problem solving and time management skills
- Proficient understanding of asset capitalization, depreciation methods, and asset lifecycle management
