Job Summary
Key Management Infrastructure (KMI) contracting role supporting DON/KMI and KPI services. Responsibilities include reviewing and routing KMI account registration forms within 2 working days, forwarding personnel registration/enrollment forms, processing COMSEC status messages and NCMS directives, updating KMI/CT-1 databases, delivering monthly COMSEC material reports to deployed submarines via SIPRNET by the 30th, handling keying material requests, drafting NCMS directives and maintaining logs, updating the KMI policy documents, and participating in software release tests for KMI/CT-1. Must comply with CNSSI 4005/4006 and CMS Series COMSEC policy, protect PII information, and support daily notification processing, revalidation requests from DIRNSA, and disposition messaging. LOCATION-based duties at Andrews AFB, MD; Norfolk, VA; San Diego, CA; and Pearl Harbor, HI; requires independent work and solid written/verbal communication skills.
Required Qualifications
- Previously worked as KMI Registration Manager or COMSEC Account Manager or Local Element custodian
- Skilled verbal and written communication techniques
- Thorough understanding of National COMSEC Policy (CNSSI 4005/4006)
- Department of the Navy COMSEC Policy (CMS Series)
- Ability to work independently
- Analytical processing skill
