Job Summary
Key Lead role on the store leadership team focused on delivering an inclusive, customer-centric retail experience. Responsibilities include modeling Glossier’s mission and values, maintaining an equitable work environment, facilitating effective team communication and recognition, and ensuring exceptional customer interactions on the sales floor and in back-of-house operations. Lead and coach staff, manage daily coverage and shift huddles, uphold operational standards (visual merchandising, store cleanliness, safety), and act as a resource on product philosophy and portfolio knowledge. Drive KPIs and business impact through engaging leadership, collaboration with the Associate Store Director, and partnership with the community for events and partnerships. Requires 2+ years of supervisory experience, strong communication, ability to motivate teams, and a flexible schedule.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of supervisory experience in a fast-paced retail, customer service, or hospitality environment
- Experience in promoting and supporting a people-first employee culture
- Excellent communication practices that are ongoing, clear, and structured
- Proven ability to motivate and inspire teams, maintaining high levels of engagement and strong employee morale
- Willingness to roll up sleeves and jump in when needed
- Passion for building exceptional, detail-oriented customer and employee experiences
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
