Job Summary
Drive sales, maintain visual standards, and support daily store operations by leading the sales floor, stocking merchandise, and managing opening and closing procedures. Build genuine customer relationships through suggestive selling, process transfer orders and RTVs, and communicate effectively with the Store Manager while prioritizing workload to protect the customer experience. Uphold company policies, participate in meetings, and travel to other stores within the region as needed. This part-time seasonal role offers a pay range of $19-$20/hour with paid sick time, 401(k) match, and quarterly gratis.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, holidays, and varying shifts
- Ability to open and close the store independently
- Willingness and ability to travel to other stores within the region as needed
- Standing and walking for extended periods during scheduled shifts
- Frequent bending, reaching, stooping, and kneeling
- Climbing ladders or step stools to access merchandise and displays
- Lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling merchandise and fixtures weighing up to 40lbs. including overhead lifting
- Repetitive use of hands and arms for handling products, operating POS systems, and visual merchandising
Desired Qualifications
- 1+ years of retail experience preferred
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to build rapport and communicate effectively with customers and team members
- Strong eye for fashion and visual presentation
- Proven ability to use selling techniques to achieve sales and repeat business
- Basic computer proficiency
