Job Summary
Craft quality coffee, espresso, smoothies, and food offerings with consistency while maintaining cleanliness and adhering to food safety standards. Deliver warm, welcoming guest interactions, engage visitors with product knowledge, and assist with cashiering, stocking, and merchandising to keep the store guest-ready. Work alongside leadership to achieve service and sales goals, ensuring proper sanitation at all times. This part-time role requires flexibility for mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays, with a valid food handler's certificate required upon hire or within 30 days.
Required Qualifications
- Must Be: 18 years or older to apply
- Ability to lift and move up to 40 pounds
- Valid Food Handler Certificate in compliance with applicable state and local health department regulations required upon hire or within 30 days of your start date
- Food Safety Awareness: Commitment to following health department standards and proper food handling procedures
- Passion for coffee and guest service is essential
- Ability to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as business needs require
- Friendly, outgoing, and dedicated to providing exceptional service
- Collaborative, upbeat approach that makes work fun and engaging
Desired Qualifications
- Previous barista, food service or retail experience preferred
- Interest in learning about coffee and specialty beverages to create and service them with care
- A current food handler's card is preferred, but we will help you obtain one after employment if necessary
- Food Protection Manager (ServSafe Manager) certifications
