Job Summary
Conduct store opening and closing procedures, serving as the Manager on Duty when management is absent. Direct the store team by overseeing merchandise receiving, cash register transactions, daily cash reconciliation, and inventory control. Resolve and report shift issues involving employees, customers, and products while enforcing safety policies. Maintain accurate records by gathering and analyzing data. Execute assigned tasks as directed by supervision. Requires a high school diploma, one year of retail experience, proficiency in computer systems, and a valid driver's license. Reports to the Store Manager or Assistant Manager.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 6 months-1 year of retail experience
- Technically proficient in computer systems including related software
- Gather and analyze data and maintain accurate records
- Take initiative, assume responsibility, and execute thoroughly
- Interact with staff at all levels of the organization
- Possess a valid driver license with an acceptable driving record in accordance with company's insurance carrier's standards
- Subject to pre-employment background and drug screening
Desired Qualifications
- High School diploma or General Equivalency Diploma (GED) preferred
