Job Summary
Manage all aspects of the store by acting as Manager on Duty, ensuring opening/closing procedures and operational procedures are executed per company guidelines. Address immediate customer service issues, provide coaching to Associates, and maintain accurate associate coverage in service areas. Prioritize store team tasks to satisfy customers while promoting credit and loyalty programs, shrink reduction goals, and safety awareness. This role alternates between Coordinator and Key Carrier responsibilities with open availability including nights and weekends. Starting pay is $16.00 to $16.50 per hour at the HomeGoods store in Appleton, WI.
Required Qualifications

- 1 year retail experience
- 6 months leadership experience
- Knowledge of company standard software, systems, and procedures
- Knowledge of merchandise flow in stores
- Proven problem solving skills
- Able to effectively coach, delegate, and follow-up on multiple people/tasks
- Able to act quickly under challenging circumstances
- Capable of multi-tasking
- Superior communication and organizational skills with attention to detail
