Job Summary
Gear/Hardlines Key Carrier role that alternates between Coordinator and Key Carrier, taking on a leadership role in maintaining all aspects of the store. Responsibilities include managing opening/closing procedures, ensuring accurate associate coverage, coaching and providing feedback to Associates, communicating with management, upholding labor laws and company policies, promoting safety, and supporting credit/loyalty programs. Requires exceptional customer service, the ability to respond to changes, coach multiple people/tasks, and maintain store operations with open availability including nights and weekends. Location: Erie, PA; compensation starts at $15.25-$15.75 per hour, with annualized salary range of $31,720-$32,760. The role emphasizes teamwork, accountability, and delivering a positive customer experience within TJX stores and distribution environments.
Required Qualifications
- 1 year retail experience
- 6 months leadership experience
- open availability including nights and weekends
- knowledge of company standard software, systems, and procedures
- ability to coach, delegate, and follow-up on multiple people/tasks
- strong communication and organizational skills
- ability to adapt to changes and maintain store operations
- ability to adhere to labor laws, policies, and procedures
- customer service excellence
- ability to act as Manager on Duty and coach Associates
