Job Summary
Key Accounts Manager – Public Channel role focusing on government and institutional accounts in India (Assam region, Guwahati). Own delivery across designated accounts, drive formulary inclusion and access progress, and coordinate cross-functional teams to convert opportunities into realized business. Build relationships with procurement leaders, formulary influencers, and administrators; manage procurement processes and tenders; ensure timely supply and liquidation, with governance-aligned pricing and payment discussions. Requires a bachelor’s degree, 2+ years as a KAM in institutional sales plus 7–8 years total sales experience, English proficiency (Hindi and local languages desirable). Strong interpersonal, organizational, and collaborator leadership skills, with ability to communicate technical information to diverse audiences and to operate with high accountability and customer focus.
Required Qualifications
- Education: Minimum Graduation / bachelor's degree in science is preferred
- A minimum of 2 years working as a KAM (Institutional Business)
- Total sales experience of 7–8 years
- English proficiency required
- Cross-functional collaboration and coordinating with internal teams
- Understanding of tender documentation and institutional procedures
- Strong account ownership and delivery across government/institutional accounts
- Ability to develop account-specific strategies based on institutional needs
Desired Qualifications
- 2 years minimum as a KAM (Institutional Business)
- 7-8 years total sales experience
- Professional proficiency in English
- Hindi and other local languages desirable
- Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills
