Job Summary
Key Account Specialist x2 for the South African Broadcasting Corporation. Responsible for selling integrated solutions within the SABC ecosystem, managing a portfolio of high-value Public Sector accounts and agencies, negotiating deals, driving revenue growth across platforms, and providing end-to-end account management including client education on platforms, sponsorship opportunities, and ongoing relationship management. Requires formal qualifications at NQF Level 6 or above and 5-8 years of relevant front-line sales/account management experience in media/advertising, with strong negotiation, presentation, and planning skills.
Required Qualifications
- A relevant tertiary qualification (degree or diploma) at NQF Level 6 or above
- 5-8 years’ relevant front-line sales specialist / sales management / account management experience within the Media|Marketing|Advertising environment.
- Knowledge and Skills: Knowledge and experience in integrated / digital sales solutions would be advantageous.
- Supplementary Media and Sales training courses & certificates required.
- Excellent media sales track record
- Presentation skills: Proven track record in presenting end-to-end media solutions
- Negotiation Skills: Proven track record in negotiating high value contract terms for the benefit of both the client and the organisation
- Understanding of broadcasting policies
