Job Summary
Key Account Manager for Industrial Water Treatment responsible for managing industrial water treatment applications across multiple sites in the UK, including routine testing of cooling and boiler water treatment, with a split emphasis on new business development and key account management, coordination of contracts and orders, customer liaison at technical and commercial levels, forecasting area financials, and delivering on KPI targets while aligning with Solenis’ processes and compliance obligations. The role requires strong technical knowledge of boiler and cooling water treatment products, ability to communicate effectively with customers, and the capability to work across manufacturing and process environments within the industrial water sector.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate degree preferably in Chemistry/Chemical Engineering or relevant years of experience in lieu of a degree
- 5 years’ progressive experience in sales/account management in the water treatment industry is advantageous
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Customer-focused with attention to detail and results
