Key Account Manager

Job Summary
Hunt for new business opportunities and consult with perspective customers to provide mutually beneficial solutions for Data Center Operators and Facility Managers. Manage assigned territories by developing pipelines, executing enterprise sales methodologies, and leading solution development efforts that address end-user needs. Coordinate cross-functional resources to close new business while maintaining high win rates and meeting profitable sales volume targets. Utilize proactive selling methods to improve market share and provide regular CRM updates to senior management on account performance. Participate in industry events to cultivate relationships with C-level executives. This role requires a minimum of five years of experience selling enterprise software and resides in Canada for a remote position.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years proven track record of success in selling enterprise software applications and managing major accounts
- Proven business development process and skillset
- Experience in channel and direct sales
- Proven referenceable track record of managing and developing major accounts at C level
- Strong account management and relationship building skills
- Knowledge and experience of multi-level selling and account management in large corporate accounts
- Possess an existing and current rolodex of data center infrastructure managers / directors / VPs, etc. that can be used as references for gaining access
- Ability to converse and consult with customers, providing educational value during the process
- Formal strategic/solution sales training (Sandler, Challenger, Strategic, SPIN, etc.)
- Ability to use Microsoft Office/Exchange, and CRM systems
- Must reside in Canada
