Job Summary
Key Account Manager to manage and expand a portfolio of Industrial Water Treatment accounts, serving as a primary point of contact for assigned accounts, delivering technical expertise and commercial value. Responsibilities include maintaining and growing customer relationships, reviewing and optimizing treatment programs through routine monitoring and testing, providing on-site technical support for mill water systems (cooling, boiler, wastewater, power & recovery cycles), conducting on-site training with customer personnel, developing and executing sales plans for new opportunities, managing account profitability (pricing, chemical usage, receivables), and driving safety improvements and process optimization at customer sites. Requires a Bachelor’s degree (technical preferred) with a minimum of 3+ years in or supporting pulp and paper mills, experience with power & recovery systems and boiler water chemistry, and strong communication and relationship-management skills.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree (technical preferred; experience may substitute)
- Minimum 3+ years of experience working in or supporting pulp and paper mills (required)
- Experience supporting or working with power & recovery systems and boiler water chemistry (required)
- Strong ability to provide hands-on water treatment technical support in a mill environment
- Strong relationship management and communication skills
- Ability to operate independently in a field-based environment
