Job Summary
Key Account Manager responsible for managing full sales cycles for assigned commodity and industrial accounts in Canada, including chicken and turkey segments. Develop strong rapport with customers and plant personnel; maximize volume and revenue; source and develop new commodity and industrial accounts; manage fresh and frozen inventory, with travel as required. Requires 3-5 years of sales/planning experience and a business-degree background; includes prospecting, presentations, objections handling, closing, and ongoing account follow-up. Bonus eligibility and regional offer variability noted.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 3-5 years of Sales and/or Planning experience
- Preference for experience in commodity sales and account management
- A proven record of profitable management of accounts
- Good working knowledge of sales process (prospecting, presentation, objections, close, management and follow up)
- Ability to travel
