Job Summary
Key Account Manager for a Retina-focused ophthalmic portfolio in Minnesota. Responsible for maintaining existing business while expanding sales within a defined geographic region, promoting products such as IHEEZO and Triesence to ophthalmologists, optometrists, surgery centers, and staff. Candidates should have 3+ years of buy-and-bill or medical device sales experience and be able to develop physician and staff relationships, articulate product advantages, and meet quarterly revenue/product goals. Will travel extensively (roughly 75% travel with overnights) and leverage CRM (Salesforce) to manage plans, forecasts, and reports. Requires strong presentation and interpersonal skills, proficiency with MS Office, and the ability to multitask in a dynamic ophthalmic market. Bachelor’s degree in a related field is required; ophthalmology retina experience is preferred. Excellent communication, problem-solving, and independent reporting are essential, along with the ability to travel within the defined geography. Proficiency with Salesforce and a proactive, entrepreneurial mindset are valued.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field
- 3+ years of buy and bill sales, and/or medical device sales experience
- Ophthalmology experience in Retina is preferred, but not necessary
