Job Summary
Drive assigned clients' business by increasing distribution and sales dollars while managing promotional spending and accrual budgets. Execute retail and eCommerce merchandising plans, implement HQ calls to penetrate key retailer positions, and secure approved schematics for brand resets. Collaborate with category management to optimize SKUs and drive incremental sales through new product distribution. Analyze trends to identify growth opportunities, manage difficult client conflicts, and communicate strategic input for annual business plans. Travel up to 20% to support retailer relationships and execute win/win scenarios between client and retailer objectives.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in sales, grocery, and CPG
- Strong sales presentation, interpersonal, and development skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Well-organized, detail-oriented, and able to handle a fast-paced work environment
- Track record of building and maintaining customer/client relationships
- Strong computer skills including proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Outlook, and web browsers
- Working knowledge of syndicated data and driving insights
- Proven track record in sales
- High School Diploma/GED or equivalent experience
- 1-3 years of experience in applicable field
- Travel up to 20%
- Ability to lift up to 10lbs
