Job Summary
Key Account Manager for Electronics responsible for leading the commercial relationship with assigned OEMs and suppliers in the electronics/electrical product area, driving new business acquisition and portfolio growth. Roles include managing negotiations, pricing, contracts, and recovery actions; analyzing market and customer needs to identify opportunities; building and maintaining customer relationships; supporting acquisition activities (project selection, cost breakdowns, quotations) and coordinating with Program Management, Engineering, Plants, Finance, and Quality; monitoring commercial performance and implementing recovery strategies; coordinating technical responses for quality or performance issues; contributing to revenue forecasting, ramp-up/phase-out planning, and management of Opportunities & Awards; managing tooling-related commercial topics, including amortization and OEM approvals.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or a related technical field
- Master’s degree preferred
- Commercial acumen and interest in commercial roles with OEMs/Tier1s within automotive electronics or electrical systems
- Strong customer relationship management skills
- Solid understanding of costing, quotations, and commercial metrics (CMI, price/pass-through, recovery actions)
- Excellent Excel skills
- Excellent English and a second European language
