Job Summary
Key Account Manager responsible for driving growth and maximizing retention across strategic accounts. Drives demand, identifies opportunities within existing accounts, and delivers tailored solutions aligned to customer needs. Serves as primary point of accountability, advocates for the customer, strengthens relationships, and collaborates with internal teams and global stakeholders to ensure delivery of commitments. Responsibilities include expanding market share through an active opportunity pipeline, conducting regular business reviews, leveraging market intelligence, negotiating pricing with customers, sharing customer data to co-create viable supply chain solutions, applying technology and analytics to customer strategy, ownership of account strategy including RFP/proposal/award management, managing pricing strategies, and pursuing continuous personal development related to Robinson’s modes/services/products.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED
- Minimum 4 years of experience in sales and/or account management
- Ability to travel up to 30% domestically and internationally
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Demonstrated influencing, negotiation, collaboration, communication and presentation skills
- Bachelor’s degree preferred (preferred)
